Step n Up are proud to welcome the latest addition to our teaching team, Kim Harrison. She brings with her a wealth of performance and teaching experience in a further nine styles of dance to help us step things up another gear!
A few highlights of Kim’s career include being the only dancer at the World’s largest AC/DC convention, performing with the original singer of AC/DC, Dave Evans at a concert in Germany as well as numerous competition titles.
Kim turned her talents to teaching at a young age where she would choreograph not just her own dances for competitions and displays but also for other solo dancers, partner teams and large teams of dancers in preparation for national competitions. And all this while still studying for her GCSE’s! Kim’s talent was also spotted by her teachers in high school and if she didn’t perform in a concert/show, she choreographed it!
Kim has decided to come on board and use her knowledge and experience to enrich our learning and understanding of more than just the typical dance styles that everyone expects from a dance company. Some of the styles include; Ballroom, Salsa, Latin, Free style/ Street, disco …. Just to name a few! (Lisa stopped counting after 19 different style)
