Kate is 24 and has been an enthusiastic performer from an early age. A local favourite within the Wrexham and Chester area her credits include: Scrooge (Stwit Theatre, Rhos); God Spell (Yale Studio, Wrexham); Betty in the musical adaptation of The Full Monty (Theatre Clwyd and Chester Gateway); Hello Dolly (Gateway Theatre, Chester); Andy in Stepping Out (Gateway Theatre, Chester);  

 

Mrs. Hart in Dad’s Army (Forum Studio, previously Gateway Theatre); Prince Charming in Cinderella (Stwit Theatre, Rhos); Vibrata in A funny thing happened on the way to the forum (Forum Studio, Chester)   Dancer in Oliver (Theatre Clwyd); Prince Zac in

in Snow White (Grove Park Theatre, Wrexham) and Charlene in Hold On Tight It’s 60’s Night- just to name a few!

            By the time Kate was 15 she had already achieved her grade 8 and gold medal in singing(LCM, grade 8 in Drama(LAMDA) and various grades in tap, modern, contemporary and jazz (RDA, Allied, AQA). At the age of 18 Kate went to Bretton Hall Drama School in Leeds and obtained a 1st class honours in Drama, she then went on to study Sociology /Music at The University of Liverpool, graduating with a 2.1 last July(2009). Kate is currently working towards her PGCE and is helping to teach A level Drama/Theatre Studies in Yale College she also teaches singing/drama for Theatre Train Chester/Wrexham.

             Kate recently fulfilled a lifelong ambition being accepted to study a Masters in Music Theatre in September at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama, London, hoping to further her professional Career. Kate’s latest achievement was performing in the west end as lead vocalist in the Star EFX variety show at the London Palladium.
